Abschlussbewertung des Projekts, oder: Hooray! Eine glatte 1!

Der Abschlussbericht des Pädagogischen Austauschdienstes liegt nun vor: Sehr gut! Unser Projekt konnte in allen Punkten überzeugen und ist deshalb mit der Bestnote für Comenius-Programme ausgezeichnet worden.

Auch wenn die 2jährige Projektzeit vorbei ist, werden wir die Arbeit natürlich nicht einstellen, sondern immer weiter daran arbeiten, neue Medien in den Unterricht zu integrieren, um unseren Schüler bestmögliche Lernbedingungen zu bieten und sie ideal auf ihr Berufsleben vorzubereiten.

1. Deutsche it’s learning user-Konferenz

Am 21.09. und 22.09. fand am Starkenburg-Gymnasium die 1. it’s learning user-Konferenz Deutschland statt. Die neue Prezi zeigt, wie LiNK (Lernen in Notebook-Klassen) am Starkenburg-Gymnasium funktioniert. Hier gibt’s das Programm.

Wir sind in EST!

Wir sind als Projekt in der European Shared Treasure-Datenbank der EU gelistet. Dort sind auch alle Ergebnisse der Partnerschaft eingestellt. Es lohnt sich, eimal vorbei zu schauen:

8th class testing “wallwisher”

The web 2.0 tool “wallwisher” offers a surface where you can leave digital post its. In this way one can create digital pin boards. We used it today to collect the main topics of the novel “Simpel” by Marie-Aude Murail that we are reading in can 8th class right now. Student’s comment: ”It’s a nice tool for lessons because you can watch the pin board grow in real time.”

Seating Arrangements in Notebook Classes

Starkenburg-Gymnasium has experimented quite a bit with different seating arrangements in notebook classes. In addition to the two most used arrangements in regular classes, group tables and the E-arangement (horseshoe), we have tested a special U-shape.

Group Tables

These days group tables are considered to support students’ self-organized learning. While they are great for group or project work they have their disadvantages because some students permanently have their backs to the front and it might prove difficult to get their attention.
